Szilváskő, the 626 m high rock ridge (the third „volcanic bodyguard” besides Salgó and Somoskő) is known by its Europe-wide famous basalt organs and the microclimate of its deep caves. Due to the cool air stalled inside that can hardly change, we may find snow/ice preserved even in summer time.

Special rocks and beautiful scenery unfolds in front of our eyes from the top of the Great Szilváskő, and a 2 km long nature trail presents the geological values of the site.
